ATLANTA, GA – For the second time within a year, Hardin Construction Company, LLC has broken ground on a new project for Medical Center Hospital (MCH) in Odessa, Texas.
MCH selected Hardin Construction to build a two-floor vertical expansion of the hospital’s Women’s Center, including a new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and expansion of the hospital’s maternity ward. The project, valued at $28.9 million, also includes demolishing a portion of the existing central energy plant and constructing a new central mechanical plant, to include road and parking lot repaving and a new playground area.
The project recently got underway and will complete in Fall 2011. The architect of record is JSA Architects of Odessa.
Hardin is also on schedule to complete this fall a new, $11.3 million Center for Health and Wellness at an MCH satellite campus. Work began last winter on that facility, which will offer a broad range of healthcare and preventive care services.
Both projects are under the supervision of Hardin’s healthcare group.
