Julius Blackmon rejoins Skanska as Vice President of Pre-Construction

JuliusBlackmonSkanska USA announced Julius Blackmon returned to the company as vice president of pre-construction in the Atlanta office. With more than 25 years experience in the healthcare construction industry, Blackmon will provide support to and leadership for healthcare clients across the Southeastern U.S. His initial focus will be on the University Medical Center project in New Orleans, and other healthcare projects in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. He will also assist Skanska's national Healthcare Center of Excellence with project pursuits.

“Julius has focused on healthcare for the majority of his career, amassing a resume few in our industry can match,” said Skanska USA Executive Vice President and Georgia General Manager John Reyhan. “He will be an invaluable resource to the Atlanta market as we continue to build our healthcare portfolio.”
Previously, Blackmon worked at Skanska in the Atlanta office for 11 years. He then joined BE&K Building Group, where he served as vice president of pre-construction.

Blackmon has worked on a variety of high-profile projects throughout his career, including Emory Midtown Hospital and Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. and Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
