Hoar Construction Earns National Awards from ABC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Associated Builders and Contractors announced that Hoar Construction's work on the St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital project in Pell City, Ala. and the Medical Center Enterprise Obstetrics addition in Enterprise, Ala. have earned the company Pyramid awards in the ABC's Excellence in Construction awards program. Hoar Construction representatives received the awards Feb. 20 during the 23rd annual Excellence in Construction awards celebration at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

“These projects are outstanding examples of the innovation and commitment to superior craftsmanship that embody merit shop construction,” said Michael D. Bellaman, ABC president and CEO.

The Excellence in Construction awards program is the industry's leading competition, developed to honor innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects. The award honors all construction team members, including the contractor, owner, architect and engineer. The winning projects, selected from entries submitted from across the nation, were judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost.
