LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The Korte Company will begin work on a $6.96-million project for Ameristar Casinos, Inc. The design-build construction firm, located in Las Vegas, Nev., St. Louis and Highland, Ill., was awarded the project based on best value criteria including price, qualifications, experience, staffing and schedule.
When complete, the entire five-story building will be built out to house Ameristar’s new corporate headquarters with the firm’s executive offices located on the fifth floor. The 86,850- square-foot project is located in the Hughes Center, a premier 68-acre mixed-use, master-planned business center within the business district of Las Vegas, Nev.
The Korte Company joins the team with the architectural firm Gensler, who facilitated the design and flow of Ameristar’s new headquarters and Cushman & Wakefield who has orchestrated the transaction on behalf of Ameristar. High architectural standards are evident throughout the space including glass walls, stone floor and countertops, architectural metal, wood ceilings and floors.
The project is expected to be completed in 14 weeks.
