NEENAH, Wis. — Miron Construction Co., Inc., official provider of construction services for the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field, is donating an estimated $130,000 worth of work toward construction of the Packers Heritage Trail monument, which will honor the story between the city of Green Bay and its beloved football team.
The monument will feature detailed statues of famous Packers and a display wall with historical memorabilia from the Packers and the city. All this is to be placed under an iconic set of lit goal posts and a uniquely designed football plaza. The monument will become a part of the self-guided walking tour known as the Packers Heritage Trail.
The $130,000 donation includes project management/coordination, construction layout and construction labor and materials to erect the monument display walls. The monument is under construction and a grand unveiling is set for fall 2013. The total estimated value of the monument is $500,000. It will be located in downtown Green Bay at the intersection of Washington and Cherry Street.
