FORT MYERS, Fla. — Stevens Construction has completed construction of Pediatric Dentistry of Fort Myers in Florida, the children’s dental practice of Dr. Tim Verwest, announced Mark Stevens, company president.
Located at 8016 Summerlin Lakes Drive, the 7,903-square-foot facility features four private treatment rooms, eight patient dental bays to serve children and teens, consultation rooms, administrative offices and game area.
Pediatric Dentistry of Fort Myers features unique three-dimensional character sculptures throughout the facility, including a 20-foot-tall whale riding a jeep which appears to be crashing out of the building exterior and a 16-foot tall underwater scene in the dental bay. In the lobby, a 10-foot wave with a surfboard provides a photograph opportunity for children who are awaiting their appointment. Designed by Imagination Dental Solutions, the character sculptures are made of sculpted foam with class 1 fire-rated durable coating.
The Stevens Construction team included Project Manager Dan Adams, Superintendent Don Jones and Project Administrator Cathi DiBenedetti. Architectural services were provided by Ramon Acevedo of GMA Architects & Planners.
