It is a testament to our dedicated team of professionals who are committed to delivering the highest standard of performance.”
Plaza Construction's Southeast Region"s current projects include The Related Group's 42-story Millecento Residences by Pininfarina; 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach beachfront redevelopment by The LeFrak Organization, Starwood Capital Group and Invesco Ltd. and NINE at Mary Brickell Village, a 34-story, 390-unit condominium being developed by Starwood Capital Group and LYND. In addition, other completed Plaza Construction projects include the Dadeland Mall Kendall Wing Expansion with Simon Property Group; 67-story Marquis, Canyon Ranch North Tower and Meland Russin & Budwick law offices interiors.
A 25-year construction veteran who has overseen more than 125 Florida projects, Meltzer holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University School of Architecture and is a licensed general contractor in the state of Florida. Meltzer, who began his career at Plaza Construction in New York in 1989, brings innovative solutions and informed leadership to successfully meet clients" goals.
Plaza is also committed to the community and social responsibility, devoting its expertise and energies to public causes and charities. In the South Florida region, the firm dedicates time to both local and national organizations. Its annual golf tournament continues to raise money for The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which serves the United States military personnel, wounded, or injured, in service to our nation, and their families. For the past five years, Plaza has sponsored corporate events in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Additionally, the company supports the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center through participation in the Dolphin Cycling Challenge, helping to raise over $2 million for cancer research.
