Skanska to Construct Cornerstone of Technology Complex at University of Connecticut

Skanska has signed a contract with the University of Connecticut to construct the school's new Innovation Partnership Building research facility.

The proposed 118,000-square-foot building will serve as the cornerstone of the University of Connecticut's new technology complex called UConn Technology Park. The building will include shared laboratories with highly specialized equipment for private researchers and business entrepreneurs as they work side-by-side with University of Connecticut researchers and students.

Project operations have begun and are expected to be completed in January 2017.
