Stevens Construction Wins Best Commercial Project

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Stevens Construction has won a Sand Dollar award for best commercial project by the Collier Building Industry Association.

In a ceremony held on Sept. 26 at the Ritz Carlton Tiberon in Naples, Florida, Stevens Construction earned a Sand Dollar award in the commercial category for DeVoe Cadillac in Naples.

Stevens Construction completed a complex, multi-phase renovation of the dealership which included complete demolition of the existing showroom and the construction of a two-story, 37,677-square-foot showroom and service center. The entire project took place while DeVoe remained in business. Stevens Construction built a temporary sales service and sales center which kept operations running seamlessly throughout construction. Christopher J. Lee Architects, Inc. was the architect of record.

Sand Dollar awards are presented annually to building, design and marketing professionals who have demonstrated excellence within the building industry in Collier County. Entries are judged on unique features of the project, unusual constraints and how the project addresses the needs of the target market.
