The Korte Company was recently awarded a construction contract for a six-story, 284-room Visitor’s Quarters at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. When completed in the fall of 2017, the 170,000-square-foot facility is designed to be USGBC LEED Certified Silver.
The guest rooms include many of the amenities as a hotel room, including a bed, desk, closet, as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Business suites, located on the upper floors, are larger and have additional square footage for an in-room washer and dryer.
The facility also includes a fitness area, conference rooms, retail shops, business center, administrative offices, an outdoor patio and onsite laundry.
