CHICAGO, Ill. – Builtech Services LLC has been awarded a contract to perform the construction on the historic Howard Building on Randolph Street in the West Loop for Sterling Bay in Chicago, Illinois.
Located at 1000 W. Randolph St. in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, the adaptive re-use project entails the rehabilitation and renovation of the two-story, 15,500-square-foot building for new retail tenants, which include Starbucks and Anthropologie.
Located at the northwest corner of the West Loop, the Fulton Market District continues its evolution from long-time meat-packing district to upscale neighborhood. The shops will sit across the street from what will be the new McDonald’s headquarters building, with Google’s Midwest headquarters also in the vicinity.
The renovation project is expected to be completed early January 2017.
