Celebrating Promotions, New Officers of Turner Construction Company

Christa Andresky has been promoted to senior vice president, risk management and chief accounting officer. Andresky is responsible for leading Turner’s tax and accounting groups, as well as Turner’s Risk Management group. Prior to joining Turner in 2013 as vice president and chief accounting officer, she had extensive experience working in audit and finance.

Kyle Rooney has been promoted to senior vice president of the Ohio region. Rooney joined Turner’s Cleveland, Ohio office in 1982 as a field engineer. He transferred to the Miami, Florida office in 1984 to serve as an engineer and superintendent. In 1991, he transferred to the Dallas, Texas office, where he served as manager of Business Development, as well as manager of the office’s Special Projects Division. In 1999, Rooney was named vice president and general manager of Dallas. In 2004 he returned to Ohio, to serve as vice president and general manager of the Columbus Special Projects Division. The following year, he was named vice president and general manager of the Columbus office. In 2015, Rooney was named vice president and general manager of the Ohio region, his most recent role.

Kevin King has been promoted to vice president and general manager of risk management. King began his career with Turner in 2000 as corporate claims manager for the company. In 2006, he was promoted to vice president, Claims and Legal Services, his most recent role. Prior to joining Turner, King had worked within the insurance industry specializing in risk management, insurance and claims.

Michael Marchesano is now vice president and general superintendent. Marchesano joined Turner in 2000 as a superintendent. He also served as a senior project superintendent on a number of large projects before his promotion to general superintendent in 2007. His experience includes the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland, the Beverly Hills Hotel and, most recently, the Wilshire Grand Center in downtown Los Angeles, California.

Jaime Saavedra is now vice president and business manager of Miami. Saavedra joined Turner’s Miami office as a field engineer in 2000. He also served as a superintendent, a cost engineer and a project engineer before earning a promotion to manager of preconstruction services with Miami’s Special Projects Division in 2007. In 2011, he was promoted to manager of the Special Projects Division. In 2016, Saavedra was promoted to business manager for Miami’s main office, his most recent role.

Pete Schramm is now vice president and construction executive in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Schramm joined Turner’s Philadelphia office as an assistant superintendent in 1998. He also served as an assistant superintendent and a superintendent for the office’s Special Projects Division. In 2006 he was promoted to project manager, serving in both the Special Projects Division and Philadelphia’s main office. In 2014 Schramm was promoted to project executive and in 2016 he was promoted to construction executive, his most recent role.

Aaron Wiebelhaus is now vice president and general manager of the Denver, Colorado office. Wiebelhaus joined Turner’s Kansas City, Missouri office as a senior project manager in 2008, a role he served in until his transfer to the Denver office in 2010. There, he served as purchasing manager and business development manager before being promoted to business manager in 2015. In 2017, he was promoted to general manager for Denver, his most recent role.
