MSA Offers V-TEC Self-Retracting Lifeline

MSA’s V-TEC Self-Retracting Lifeline is the most recent offering in MSA’s range of fall protection product solutions. The V-TEC SRL incorporates spring radial technology, the newest method of energy absorption to be used in self-retracting devices within the personal protective equipment industry. The spring radial energy absorber is precision-made and pre-engineered and does not require calibration or adjustment as seen in traditional SRLs, which ultimately minimizes downtime, repair and maintenance costs.

With new retraction dampening technology, the V-TEC SRL simply solves user pain points by preventing excessive lifeline retraction speed that causes premature and accidental load indicator deployment, a common occurrence in the workplace. Additionally, the V-TEC SRL has a high-impact polycarbonate, clear casing which allows for easy visual inspection of the critical internal components that simplifies the pre-use user inspection process.
