Festool will begin offering new Bluetooth 18 V Li-ion battery packs. The new Li-ion 18 V Bluetooth will be available in 5.2 Ah and 6.2 Ah. The battery pack communicates via Bluetooth with the Bluetooth module on the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor and starts the CT Dust Extractor when the cordless tool is switched on.
An integrated LED display on the battery pack displays the charge status at all times. In combination with the SCA 8 AIRSTREAM rapid charger, battery packs are charged quickly and effectively with active cooling during the charging procedure. Many of Festool’s older CT dust extractor models can be retrofitted with Bluetooth modules and remote starters.
