McShane Construction Company’s Southwest Region is growing with the addition of three experienced veterans to the team in its Phoenix, Arizona office.
Marc Roberts, LEED AP, was hired as the new director of pre-construction. Roberts will lead McShane’s comprehensive pre-construction services for numerous projects within the multi-family, industrial, office and healthcare markets, among others. He is responsible for the preparation of cost estimates, value engineering, lifecycle cost analyses, constructability reviews and project scheduling. Roberts received his Master of Architecture and Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
Elaine McLean is the newest senior project manager to join McShane’s Phoenix office. She comes to the company with 16 years of professional experience within the Design-Build and general construction industry. Her responsibilities include managing McShane’s construction assignments within the multi-family market sector. In her role, she will administer and monitor various processes and documents pertaining to each assignment including scheduling, cost reporting and estimating. She received her Master of Environmental Planning from Arizona State University.
Brett Gonsowski joins McShane as a superintendent. He provides experience in producing and contributing to project take-offs, estimating, budgeting, contracting, purchasing and invoicing. His professional and detailed approach to managing projects’ onsite operations maximizes manpower and efficiencies, all while enhancing quality and safety. Gonsowski received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and Construction Management from Western Illinois University and received his Construction Management Certification from Northern Illinois University.
Roberts, McLean and Gonsowski are all members of the Associated General Contractors of America and the U.S. Green Building Council.
