Pursel Named NE Region Construction Services Area Manager for Water/Wastewater

Gannett Fleming has appointed Thomas Pursel, P.E., as the Northeast region construction services area manager for water/wastewater.

Pursel has worked on and supervised field personnel for numerous award-winning projects, including the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in New York, the City of Lebanon Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant in Pennsylvania and the Tempe Town Lake Downstream Dam Replacement in Arizona. Pursel has a specialized background in construction services for dams and will continue to collaborate with the Earth Sciences Global Business Line to assist with growth, business development and project execution nationwide.

Pursel earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Lehigh University. He holds a P.E. in New York, the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia. Pursel has affiliations with the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation and the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.
