CPWR is partnering with the National Safety Council to observe this year’s National Safety Month. This annual effort, which was started by NSC in 1996, focuses on reducing the leading causes of injury and death at work, on the road and in homes and communities. NSM is especially important for workers in the construction industry who face risks on the way to and from work, and are at a higher risk for a fatal injury than workers in other industries.
CPWR encourages everyone to engage National Safety Month activities to improve your safety and the lives of those you care about. You can find free resources to use for NSM activities—including posters, tip sheets and other items—by clicking here. There is a different focus each week: week one is hazard recognition; week two is fall prevention; week three is fatigue and week four is impairment.
