Strategic Partnership Streamlines Waste Services at Jobsites

JE Dunn Construction and waste and recycling technology platform WastePlace have formed a strategic partnership to streamline waste and recycling services at jobsites across the country. The contractor has already implemented WastePlace’s platform on construction sites in several states, and is now set to further expand adoption.

For JE Dunn’s project owners and superintendents, the partnership brings automation, transparency and cost savings to each jobsite, along with the backing of WastePlace’s account management team for onboarding and support. They are able to quickly get quotes from multiple haulers, choose the one that works for their site and manage any service requests. This also creates an automated permanent record of services.

WastePlace simplifies the procurement and management of waste and recycling services by creating more transparent sourcing and communication tools. Businesses and consumers can post their recurring or one-off waste removal service needs to the marketplace, and vetted haulers place competitive bids. Service is managed through integrated chat and the customer is protected from huge annual price increases and bad contracts.

The next 24 months will see continued onboarding of JE Dunn jobsites, while the WastePlace team works to produce more robust B2B enterprise tools, instant rating across service types and geographies and mechanisms to reward both customers and service providers who exercise more sustainable practices. The vision is that at full scale, there is an opportunity to materially shift the industry to those more sustainable practices.
