Construction Begins at Tarrant County College’s Trinity River Campus in Texas

The West Fork building of the Trinity River campus.

Construction on the Clearfork building at Tarrant County College’s Trinity River Campus in Fort Worth, Texas, has recently begun. The project team includes Sundt Construction, Inc., Bennett Benner Partners and JJA Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consultants.

Construction will include 123,000 square feet of renovation to four-and-a-half floors between two buildings on the Trinity Rivers campus. The upgrades will add a board room and conference center with reception, training spaces with breakout areas and a new catering kitchen. The project will add updated audio-video technology to communicate between the College’s multiple campuses along with a flexible space plan to accommodate many different operation functions.

The building will house the Chancellor’s executive staff, finance and accounting department, human resources department, police, grant development, student success, academic affairs, financial aid, admissions, student records and the College’s foundation staff.

The project is expected to be complete by April 2021.
