Construction Industry Round Table Announces Board Elections & New Chairman

Peter Emmons, president, CEO and founder of Structural Group, Inc., has been elected as the 2022-23 chairman of the Construction Industry Round Table. Emmons was elected during CIRT’s annual spring conference in Washington, D.C., which also welcomed new directors.

Emmons has over 47 years of experience repairing, restoring and protecting infrastructure. He is a frequent speaker at the World of Concrete, past president of the International Concrete Repair Institute, past chairman of ICRI TAC and numerous ICRI and American Concrete Institute committees. He is also author of Concrete Repair and Maintenance, Illustrated, as well as other industry papers and presentations.

Also during the CIRT’s annual spring conference, the following members were elected as officers:

  • Henry Massman, president & CEO, Massman Construction, elected as vice chairman
  • Deryl McKissack, president & CEO, McKissack & McKissack, elected as treasurer
  • Greg Cosko, president & CEO, Hathaway Dinwiddie, will continue to serve on the executive committee as immediate past chairman

In addition to the executive committee elections, CIRT also welcomed the following four industry leaders as new directors who will serve on the board through 2025:

  • Gayle Packer, president & CEO, Terracon
  • Victor Sanvido, senior vice president, Southland Industries
  • Robert Scaer, chairman & CEO, Gannett Fleming
  • David Zachry, president & CEO, Zachry Construction Corp.
