Barton Malow has named Dennis Odisho senior business strategy manager for the company’s Tampa, Florida office. In this role, he will lead work acquisition and the development of market strategies, relationship building and growth opportunities for the Tampa Bay area. He brings nearly 25 years of project management experience to the firm, with an emphasis in the construction of healthcare, education and commercial facilities.
Odisho has worked most recently as vice president of healthcare for Reno Boyd and previously as vice president of Berglund Construction’s Florida Division, which he established in 2017.
Odisho began his construction career after high school as a Local 81 Union laborer in Chicagoland. He went on to earn a degree in social sciences and humanities with a focus in psychology from Purdue University. His community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for the AdventHealth West Florida Foundation, Lakeland Regional Health Foundation, Everglades University Tampa Program Advisory Committee for Construction Management and kidsPACK, an organization that feeds over 3,000 homeless children in Polk County each year.
