Researchers from the Institute for Construction Employment Research have launched what will be an annual compendium on the performance of America’s skilled trade apprenticeship programs — the largest, privately financed system of higher education in the country.
In “The State of Registered Apprenticeship Training in the Construction Trades, 2024 Edition,” the authors develop a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind national assessment of construction apprenticeship programs, detailing the number of registrations, completion and cancellation rates, demographic trends, program design, wage rates and more across 17 different skilled trades.
