Construction Complete on Sub-Zero Facility in Goodyear, Arizona

Another major company is ready to get to work in Goodyear, Arizona. ViaWest Group and Willmeng Construction celebrated the completion of a 599,351-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility for Sub-Zero Group. with a ribbon cutting event.

This Sub-Zero Group warehouse and distribution center sits on 36.44 acres and features state-of-the-art technology, including ultra-high-efficiency HVAC units that provide a more energy-friendly heating and cooling system. The roof structure is a hybrid design, combining metal joists with panelized wood. This design provides strength and durability while allowing for flexibility and ease of construction.

The building has a total of 34 truck bays, which are designed in a distribution-style layout. This layout is optimized for efficient loading and unloading of goods, making it ideal for a warehouse or distribution center. The facility provides Sub-Zero with room for future expansion and provides another economic boost to the city of Goodyear.

Scottsdale Investment Management is the partner on this industrial build-to-suit project with ViaWest for Sub-Zero. The facility was designed by DLR Group and Kimley-Horn provided engineering services, while Willmeng led the building team.
