Amway Soccer Stadium Project Underway in Michigan

Grand Rapids, Michigan’s West Side is set to transform with the construction of a state-of-the-art soccer stadium, breaking ground in spring 2025 and expected to open in 2027. Spanning 134,500 square feet on an 8.2-acre site near Mt. Vernon and Pearl Street, next to the YMCA, the venue will seat 8,500 fans in a design tailored to create an electric atmosphere for soccer enthusiasts and community events, alike.

Beyond sports, the Amway Soccer Stadium is envisioned as a catalyst for economic vitality, sparking growth for nearby businesses and strengthening the cultural fabric of the West Side. Combining cutting-edge design with a community-focused approach, this project will establish a new hub of activity and pride for the region.

AECOM Hunt is partnering with Rockford Construction in a joint venture named Rockford/Hunt as construction manager for the project.
