Sundt Promotes Mitchell to Field Superintendent

Amy Mitchell has been promoted from senior project engineer to field superintendent, serving Sundt’s Building Group in Tempe, Arizona. In her new role, Mitchell will lead field operations on assigned projects, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency throughout the construction process.

Mitchell began her career at Sundt as an intern in 2017, contributing to the Banner-University Medical Center tower project in Tucson, Arizona. She joined the company full time in 2018 as a field engineer, advancing to project engineer and senior project engineer. Throughout her tenure, Mitchell has been a key team member on numerous projects in Tucson and the Phoenix metro region, including the Tucson Convention Center capital improvements project and the SunZia HVDC Voltage Source Converter Station.

Mitchell is a member of the steering committee for Rise Together, a mentorship program for young women in the civil and architectural engineering program at The University of Arizona. She is pursuing a master’s in business administration from the University of Illinois and has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The University of Arizona.
