ASA Midwest Council Names General Contractor of the Year

The American Subcontractors Association Midwest Council recently named McGrath & Associates the 2025 General Contractor of the Year Award. McGrath won this award in the $65-200-million revenue category. The contractor has won this award three times in the last six years. ASA-member subcontractors voted on general contractors based on such factors as bid ethics, project management practices, safety management and project scheduling.

“Being chosen for this award by the regional subcontracting community is a testament to McGrath’s commitment to managing our projects safely and efficiently,” said Nicholas Knobbe, president of McGrath & Associates. “We are grateful to all our employees who continue to set the standard for success and make achievements like this possible.”

Awards were presented at ASA’s 32nd Annual Awards Gala in various categories, including General Contractor of the Year, Outstanding MEP and Specialty Subcontractors, Professional Service Provider and Vendor/Supplier of the Year. The ASA Midwest Council is focused on improving the construction process through active participation in education, advocacy and collaboration. Members include subcontractors and suppliers serving the construction industry and the community in the greater St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area and southern Illinois.
