Willmeng Names Michelle Rousseau Director of Trade Relations

Michelle Rousseau has been hired as director of trade relations at Willmeng Construction. This newly created director-level position is designed to deepen relationships with key trade partners and enhance communication across the firm’s growing market sectors.

Rousseau’s role was created to proactively grow the base of specialized subcontractor firms to serve expanded market sectors. This position is unique to general contractors and is specifically designed to drive deeper partnerships and mutually leverage the strengths of the companies. Rousseau will focus on being a dedicated resource for those trade partners to serve them from project preconstruction stages through warranty stages, as well as serve as a source of information and guidance for trade partners to navigate expanded opportunities.

Rousseau brings over 11 years of construction industry experience to the role. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona, which provides her with a strong technical background. Her previous experience includes Virtual Design and Construction and trade coordination. She also spent eight years in a business development role, gaining valuable relationship-building skills that make her uniquely qualified for her position at Willmeng.
