Fischer Unveils Setting Tool for Timber Construction

With the new FGW 90F setting tool from fischer, nails can be driven into wood quickly, easily and safely. The gas-powered tool enables economical working, shortens installation times and ensures uniform, precise fastening — without the need for additional tools or fixings.

Featuring compact dimensions, the tool sits ergonomically in the hand, allowing users to get to work immediately. The magazine holds up to 60 nails secured by a safety clip to prevent them from falling out, and can be quickly reinserted. The grippy tool nose and a driving energy of 90 joules enable precise nail driving in all directions. The FGW 90F processes ring shank and smooth shank nails from 50 to 90 mm, including D-head and full head nails. This allows use in solid timber, laminated timber, plywood, particleboard and fiberboard, as well as veneer materials.
