Construction company Danis has expanded into Indiana. Founded in 1916, it is a third-generation, privately owned construction management company serving the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States. The company has executed highly technical work in active healthcare environments, including hospital expansions, patient towers and critical care facilities. The company also has deep expertise in life sciences construction, including laboratories, research facilities and regulated manufacturing environments.
The announcement comes alongside projections that Indiana will continue to experience a boom in construction investment – specifically in the healthcare and life sciences industries – in 2026 and beyond, with more than $39.6 billion in projects underway statewide.
“As Danis continues to establish its Indiana presence, our focus goes beyond building projects,” said John Tomasic, director of business development at Danis. “We look forward to growing our team here, continuing to build strong partnerships, and supporting a wide range of community-driven efforts to build valuable relationships that extend well beyond our job sites.”
The company’s Indianapolis office will open over the remainder of this year and into 2027, with plans to hire an additional 30 employees in central Indiana, ranging from skilled tradespeople to operations professionals.
