CHICAGO, Ill. — The Lend Lease Chicago office completed the construction of the Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown — The Loop, a brand new sustainable hotel located at 28 North Franklin, in the heart of Chicago, Illinois" Downtown Loop Area.
Filed under: NewsWorking in collaboration with Palmetto Hospitality Group of Chicago, LLC, OTO Development and VOA Architects, Lend Lease provided construction management services for the new 18-story, 143,000-square-foot hotel featuring 206 guest rooms ranging from king, king studio, queen and ADA room types. The hotel offers guests a wide range of amenities including a more than 1,500-square-foot exercise facility on the third floor, an indoor pool on the second floor and over 2,300 square feet of meeting room space. The building is targeting LEED-NC Silver certification.
Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown — The Loop opened its doors on June 24, approximately two months ahead of schedule.
