Construction of the White Plains Institute for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a $60-million rehabilitation and skilled nursing community in downtown White Plains, New York, has recently been completed.
Congress Building Corp., collaborating in a joint venture with Consigli Construction completed the new premier, 110,000-square-foot, five-story community, which features modern amenities including two full gyms/rehabs—one dedicated to its short-term rehab residents—activity programs, 24/7 care and a specially designed dementia/memory care-living neighborhood.
Other amenities include underground parking, community spaces on each floor, full-service barber/beauty salon and multiple dining facilities with outdoor urban dining, rooftop terraces and lounges designed to connect its residents to the vibrant downtown urban environment.
Residents are scheduled to arrive at the facility in the fall of 2019.
