A Hyatt Centric hotel project for the upscale Apex SouthPark development in Charlotte, North Carolina, is underway with JE Dunn Construction as general contractor.
The 135,000-square-foot Hyatt Centric SouthPark will feature 175 rooms and amenities including retail and restaurant on the ground level, bar and pre-function/ballroom on the second level and fitness and restaurant/bar on the ninth-level rooftop.
As is customary for the brand, the new Hyatt Centric SouthPark boasts unique design features in both public spaces and guestrooms, including a monumental stair feature connecting the first and second levels.
Beacon IMG is the developer of Hyatt Centric SouthPark. Apex SouthPark, developed by Childress Klein and Ascentris, is a mixed-use, destination complex of specialty restaurants, fashion options and other retail, luxury residential buildings and a parking structure among its elements.
Project completion is scheduled for early 2021.
