Turner Construction Crew Places Final Steel Beam on 5-Story Cancer Center in Tennessee

A topping out ceremony was recently held for the $76.4-million Midtown Medical Office Building and $25.4-million Tennessee Oncology tenant improvements in Nashville, Tennessee. The final steel beam was signed by the workers and clients during the topping-out celebration. When complete, the five-story cancer care center will combine imaging, medical and radiation cancer care specialists under one roof.

The project includes technology investments focusing on cancer prevention, detection and treatment. Patients will have access to enhanced services such as nutritionists, social workers and navigators to provide coordinated clinical and concierge services.

Turner Construction is serving as the general contractor for both projects. The 310,097-square-foot core-and-shell building will be completed in spring 2025, followed by 83,964 square feet of tenant improvements complete by summer 2025.
