Barton Malow-AECOM Hunt to Host Community Event, Information Session for Camping World Stadium Project

The Barton Malow | AECOM Hunt joint venture team will host a Community Event and Information Session on Sept. 22 to share information on the forthcoming Camping World Stadium Redevelopment project. It will include project updates, potential construction impacts, bid packages and how to get involved. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Varsity Club in Camping World Stadium, 1 Citrus Bowl Place in Orlando.

The Orlando City Council formally approved the Selection Committee’s recommendation of Barton Malow | AECOM Hunt as the construction joint venture team on the Camping World Stadium Redevelopment project in February.

This redevelopment phase is a continuation of Barton Malow’s previous successful 2021 renovation, which modernized end zone seating, restrooms, concessions and premium spaces. Phase 3 will increase the stadium’s capacity, enhance ADA accessibility, reimagine and replace the upper bowl, upgrade and add premium spaces throughout the stadium and enhance the guest experience across the campus.

Several major bid packages — including steel, precast concrete, elevators/escalators and demolition — have been released utilizing early contractor engagement, with more to follow in early October. This Community Event will cover project updates, introduce the team, share future bid opportunities and schedules, detail upcoming events and explain how to get involved in community engagement.
