Balfour Beatty Completes The Charles in Charleston

Balfour Beatty announced the completion of The Charles, a premier multifamily development located in Charleston’s waterfront district.

Developed by The Beach Company, the 66,250-square-foot development features 15 three-story townhomes and eight residential flats across three buildings, each designed with mahogany entry doors, quartz countertops and oversized windows. The façade showcases historically detailed cast stone, brick and decorative wrought iron railings — elements that pay homage to Charleston’s architectural heritage.

Amenities include dedicated parking, landscaped gardens and community spaces such as a rooftop terrace with sweeping views. Interiors range from 1,600 to 3,400 square feet.
