Alliant Insurance Services will sponsor the Build America Awards program, the Associated General Contractors of America recently announced. The firm will host this year's awards program, which will recognize the most challenging and successful construction projects of 2011, association officials noted.
“Alliant understands that the best way to drive innovation and accomplishment throughout the entire construction community is to highlight the projects among us that amaze and inspire,” said Stephen E. Sandherr, the association's chief executive officer. “This means that the greatest aspiration for many in the construction industry will be to win an Alliant Build America Award.”
The Alliant Build America Awards program honors association members that have built the nation's most impressive construction projects ranging across the building, highway and transportation, municipal and utilities, and federal and heavy divisions. The awards for 2011 will be announced during the association's annual convention in March 2012, which will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The deadline for applying for this year's Alliant Build America Awards is Nov. 4. Visit http://www.agc.org/cs/about_agc/recognition_programs/agc_build_america_awards.
