Lord Mayor Dirk Hilbert and representatives of BAM Sports GmbH recently signed the general contractor agreement for the conversion and expansion of the Heinz Steyer Stadium into a multifunctional sports and event facility, located in Dresden, Germany. The order includes general contractor services for a turnkey and operational handover to the state capital Dresden, including all the necessary planning and construction services. Memorial Healthcare System’s Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s vertical expansion, located in Hollywood, Florida, recently topped out. Robins & Morton is serving as the general contractor and the architect is HKS, Inc. Once all work is complete in the fall of 2022, the four-floor, 164,038-square-foot expansion will include 72 new patient rooms, two cardiac hybrid operating rooms, two surgical suites and an intraoperative MRI.
