Brasfield & Gorrie Completes Expansion of Georgia Southern University's Paulson Stadium
ATLANTA, Ga. — Brasfield & Gorrie announced the on-schedule completion of an $8.5-million expansion project at Georgia Southern University's Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Georgia. The project involved 47,800 square feet of expansion, as well as 8,100 square feet of building additions. Designed to increase the stadium's capacity from 14,500 seats to approximately 25,000 seats, the project involved additions of on-grade seating, a club level and an elevated deck, as well as expansions of the concessions and restroom buildings. Nonresidential Construction Index Dips in Q3
NRCI = 62.5 RALEIGH, N.C. — FMI, a provider of management consulting and investment banking* to the engineering and construction industry, released the 2014 Third Quarter Nonresidential Construction Index report. The NRCI shows a decrease of 3.3 points from Q2, but is still above the same time period in 2013. The cost of materials and labor continues to climb weighing negatively on the index.
