Turner Building Cost Index Shows Increase Driven by Growth in Larger, Urban Market

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Turner Construction Company announced that the Second Quarter 2013 Turner Building Cost Index — which measures costs in the non-residential building construction market in the United States — has increased to a value of 859. NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Skanska USA recently announced that it has hired Terry “Mac” McCandlish as a senior superintendent based in the firm’s Nashville office. McCandlish brings more than 30 years of experience in construction to this position, with the majority of his experience for the last 22 years focused on healthcare construction.
