Construction materials prices expanded 0.1 percent in December and are up 1.3 percent year over year, according to a Jan. 15 Producer Price Index released by the Department of Labor. $986M Bonding Bill Invests in Minnesota Infrastructure Improvements
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Gov. Mark Dayton introduced a bonding proposal that would invest $986 million in infrastructure projects statewide, creating more than 27,000 Minnesota jobs. Mortenson Opens Texas Office
Mortenson Construction is opening a new office in San Antonio, Texas. The new office will support the company's growing energy business, including key wind and solar projects in the state, high-voltage transmission and other operations. Mortenson plans to open its San Antonio office in the first half of 2014. SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The American Cancer Society has joined forces with the Associated General Contractors Utah chapter to build a Hope Lodge in Utah, kicking off with a $20,000 donation from AGC and its members. The Hope Lodge, which will be located in downtown Salt Lake City, will serve residents from rural Utah and the Intermountain West who travel to Salt Lake to receive care at its cancer treatment centers.
