Turner Construction Company is marking the firm’s 50th anniversary of the Turner School of Construction Management program. The program is Turner’s longest-running community-based program. Associated Builders and Contractors announced the winners of its annual competitions for craft apprentices and construction management students and named the top craft professional, craft instructor and young professional of the year during the Careers in Construction Awards at ABC Convention 2019. TDIndustries Wins 2 TEXO Distinguished Building Awards
TEXO recently honored TDIndustries with two 2019 Distinguished Building Awards, one for TD’s work on Frost Tower in Fort Worth, Texas, and the second for Texas Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Frisco, Texas. TD earned the Scottish Rite award in the $10-million-plus Mechanical 3 category, and Frost Tower in the $5-10 million Mechanical 2 group. National Construction Group, Local Volunteers Launch Construction on New Colorado Springs Playground
Construction charity AGC Charities, Inc. and the Colorado Contractors Association’s Emerging Leaders Council have begun construction of a new Head Start playground that will expand play learning opportunities for dozens of local children.
