ROCHESTER, Minn. — Knutson Construction’s Byron Pre K-2 school project is 20 percent complete and is on track to be finished by June 2016. The new Byron, Minnesota school will be 100,000 square feet and includes over 30 classrooms, a kitchen, cafeteria and a gymnasium. The new building will house pre-kindergarten through second grade students who are currently attending class at the Byron Community Education Center. NEW YORK, N.Y. — According to FMI's 2015 Issue 2 M&A Advisor, public engineering and construction firms are underperforming the broader market. Public E&C firms historically have outperformed the broader market during periods of expansion and underperformed during periods of contraction.
