Clark to Build East County Detention Center

INDIO, Calif. — Clark has been awarded a $274-million contract by The County of Riverside Economic Development Agency to build the East County Detention Center in Indio, California. Clark will construct a 500,000-square-foot detention center to expand and replace the existing Indio county jail and riverside sheriff’s department. The new facility will be constructed in two phases and will result in a 1,626-bed facility.
