SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers moved into new headquarters at Federal Center South Building 1202, a design-build project led by ZGF Architects LLP and Sellen Construction.   The 209,000-square-foot, high-performance building transforms an industrial brownfield warehouse site into a 21st century workplace and sets a new standard for the marketplace. Crane Institute Certification and MCM Events have named Jesse Pettit the National Champion of the Crane Operator Rodeo competition held in October in Davenport, Fla. Pettit, an operator for Maxim Crane, Phoenix, Ariz., first got his experience as a crane operator in the U.S. Army and has been operating cranes commercially for about 10 years. Pettit took home $1,000 cash and other prizes sponsored by Manitowoc Cranes.
