Scaffold Industry Association Members Approve Name Change
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The Scaffold Industry Association members recently approved a name change for the association. Effective Oct. 1, 2011, the association will be called the Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA). “It may take some time for the new name to become second nature, and the acronym SAIA may not roll off the tongue quite as easily as SIA, but give it time. Columbus Regional Selects Rollins Construction Company to Build Floodwall
COLUMBUS, Ind. — Rollins Construction Company has been selected by Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Ind. to construct a 2,400 foot floodwall to protect the entire medical campus from flooding. In June 2008, the basement and first floor of the hospital were flooded from nearby Haw Creek, forcing the hospital to be evacuated and closed for five months. The hospital reopened by the end of 2008, and was recently named to the 2011 Most Beautiful Hospitals in America list by Soliant Health.
