OSHA Extends Comment Period on Proposed Noise Interpretation

OSHA is extending by 90 days the official comment period on the proposed interpretation titled “Interpretation of OSHA’s Provisions for Feasible Administrative or Engineering Controls of Occupational Noise,” which was published Oct. 19 in the Federal Register. Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments by March 21, 2011. KBR Building Group Tops Out Duke Medicine Cancer Center

HOUSTON, Texas— KBR announced that its Building Group has topped out the new Duke Medicine Cancer Center facility project in Durham, N.C. KBR started work on the center in 2009. The 267,000 square foot, seven-floor facility will house major cancer programs, including Radiology and Diagnostic Treatment, 105 multi-disciplinary exam rooms, 75 infusion stations, 25 clinic rooms and three linear accelerators.
