TDIndustries has earned two national safety awards, a National Safety Merit Award, in the Specialty Trade Contractor category, from Associated Builders and Contractors and a third-place Construction Safety Excellence Award, in the Construction Management Division of Over 4 million Work Hours, from Associated General Contractors of America. The 2022 National Safety Excellence Award winners were selected from ABC member firms that achieved Diamond, Platinum or Gold status in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System in 2022, reflective of their 2021 safety performance data. Construction Industry Unites to Focus on Cultivating Inclusion

The third annual Construction Inclusion Week 2023 is set for Oct. 16-20. The goal of the week is to build awareness of the need to improve diversity and inclusion in the construction industry by providing content and resources and harnessing collective power. ABC’s 2023 Guide to Construction Safety Best Practices 

Associated Builders and Contractors released its 2023 Safety Performance Report, an annual guide to safety best practices on construction jobsites and comprehensive study of the impact of the STEP Safety Management System. Bobcat Prototype Arrives at NIHF Museum

A legendary piece of construction history arrived April 19 at the National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum in Alexandria, Virginia. Joe Keller, the son of 2023 National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductee Louis Keller and nephew of Inductee Cyril Keller, was on a cross-country trip with the Keller brothers’ invention — a 1958 prototype skid-steer loader. Keller brought the loader to the museum, where the prototype will be part of an exhibit at the National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum honoring the 2023 Class of Inductees, who will be recognized in October during NIHF’s 50th anniversary Induction Ceremony.
