Ryan Selected for Kum & Go Corporate Headquarters
DES MOINES, Iowa — Ryan Companies U.S., Inc. has been selected as general contractor for Kum & Go's new 120,000-square-foot corporate headquarters, associated parking structure and mixed-use project in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The $54-million project is situated on approximately two city blocks adjacent to Western Gateway Park and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park. Bechtel Among First Companies to Use Unmanned Aircraft System Technology in Construction
HOUSTON, Texas — Bechtel has been granted permission for commercial use of unmanned aircraft system technology by the United States Federal Aviation Administration. Level 10 Construction Builds New Lab for CS Bio
SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Level 10 Construction recently completed several projects for CS Bio Company, Inc, including construction of a state-of-the-art cGMP laboratory, as well as the renovation of adjacent laboratory and office space in Menlo Park, California. The project is being built to LEED Gold-certification standards and was constructed within a phased 18-month timeline so that CS Bio could meet operational and budgetary objectives. Level 10 Begins Next Phase of Construction with Specialty Crane
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Level 10 Construction, the general contractor for 181 Fremont Street, has initiated Phase II of construction with the erection of the tower's five-story basement. The basement is being constructed with the assistance of a Wolffkran 700 B Luffing tower crane, the first of its kind used in the U.S. The Wolff 700 B crane is known for its ability to move extremely heavy loads at quick line speeds within a tight urban footprint.
