Strong Man Safety Products has introduced a new distribution center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The 40,000-square-foot facility is complete with six docks and four drive-up ramps, allowing for efficient order fulfillment. Construction Spending Deteriorates in June, Multifamily + Nonresidential Categories Increase First Half 2019

Construction spending declined in June from May 2019 and June 2018 levels, but most categories other than single-family homebuilding ended the first half of the year ahead of the year-to-date totals for 2018, according to a recent analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of new federal spending data. Modular Building Completed for Temporary Flying Squadron Facility

A 17,284-square-foot Temporary Flying Squadron Facility for the 33d Flying Training Squadron at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma is complete. Ramtech Building Systems served as Design-Build firm on the project. The single-story modular building complex will be used for pilot training as part of a program aimed at increasing the graduation rate to address the shortage of pilots that exists within the U.S. Air Force. Forty-two states added construction jobs between June 2018 and June 2019, while construction employment increased in 30 states from May to June, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data released recently.
