Construction Employment Rises from October 2017 to October 2018 in 44 States, D.C.

Forty-four states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between October 2017 and October 2018, while 36 states and D.C. added construction jobs between September and October, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data recently released. Results of 6th Annual Trailer for a Cause Auction Benefiting MOCA

Felling Trailers, Inc. conducted its sixth annual online auction of an FT-3 drop deck utility trailer to benefit the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The winning bid of $3,400 was placed in the last minutes before the auction closed in September. The bid winner was local Sauk Centre, Minnesota business owner Jon Stein, owner of Centre Dairy Equipment & Supply, Inc. Stein’s business is located a short distance from Felling’s Sauk Centre location where the trailer was on display leading up to the auction. Moose International Lodgic Everyday Community Project Celebrates Grand Opening

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Gilbane Building Company and Moose International recently celebrated the grand opening of the nation’s first Lodgic Everyday Community project in Champaign, Illinois. Gilbane provided preconstruction and construction management services for the Lodgic Everyday Community project, which consisted of tenant redevelopment of approximately 28,000 square feet  of interior space. The project included a new restaurant with outdoor seating, coffee café, retail, co-work office space for lease, childcare, outdoor play area and fitness center. It is one of the organization’s most significant expansion ventures since the turn of the 20th century.
